I was driving to work on the 405 southbound when a woman in a red beetle with license plate# K Apples cut me off so short I had to hit the breaks (in the fast lane) and I ended up swerving into the carpool lane. This person has a bumper sticker advertising her business!Watch for this oblivious driver...she could cause an accident!

I give up
Wednesday, July 28, 2010
I'm giving up platewire. You should too. It does nothing.
Originally, I came to platewire to vent my frustrations. Now, I am abandoning it.
It made me feel good to write up all the horrible drivers that I had seen on the road. Now I have become one.
I have caved in to the darkside and I will drive very poorly.
Today I saw one of the worst drivers ever. I was taunted on the road and driven off of it. Law enforcement is of no use, because there isn't any. I wanted to hurt that person. It wouldn't have done any good, and it wouldn't have made my day any better. Knowing there are people like that on the road makes my emotions shut off. The reason why I am an unfeeling robot when you try to talk to me in a line at the grocery store is because I see this EVERYDAY.
EVERYDAY I see people get cut off on the road. EVERYDAY I see more and more messed up thing that I could never have imagined. EVERYDAY I see law enforcement do nothing to prevent or hinder people from preying on other drivers and crossing lines that should not have been crossed. EVERYDAY I get cut off. EVERYDAY I see someone so angry they want blood on their hands because of the way they were treated. EVERYDAY I see 1 person zooming through an empty carpool lane while I ponder going in there and rolling the dice. EVERYDAY I get up, try to go to my job and have to struggle to get through traffic. The darkside is winning and I can't do anything about it.
Until you can arrest people on this site, or there is a law enforcement sticker on here where I can use citizens arrest to apprehend these road villains, I will abstain from this site and regard it as nothing.
Nothing has changed. I want the world to burn now, because it's doing this to me. I am a customer of these United States and they do nothing for me. No Happiness pursuit. Only struggle.
I have a job and a rough commute, but I don't want to see traffic turn us into angry, demented drivers. I want a solution to this universal problem. EVERYONE has this problem. It's not just me or you. It's everyone. EVERYONE has a license plate. Not everyone can exercise their right to speak out against poor driving and how it affects them. I'm a much angrier person. I'm angry at work. I'm angry in front of children. I'm angry in front of lots of people because of the way this is today.
So, I'm going to be apathetic. Apathy will save me because acting like a sociopath is where everything is headed. They are all on the road with little to no consequence.
Say what you want. That I'm negative, I'm depressed, or that I'm just plain crazy. Just know that I'm right and this is everyone's problem, you are just too scared to do anything, or apathetic.
I once cared. I truly did. I wanted the rights to get wronged, but there is no right and wrong. The wicked never get punished, they just end up punishing themselves with the stupid antics they create.
I'm done. I weep for our race as a whole. I'm going to go hit something inanimate. This blog sucks

Retard just doesn't learn
Saturday, July 17, 2010
I was heading home after work on North-bound I-15 near Lake Hodges and a retard in a Mercedes (shocker) decided he was going to move over into my lane in front of me without signaling. He got halfway into my lane and blew my horn at him, scaring the crap out of him, making him swerve back into his own lane. Of course, the retard didn't learn anything from that and changed lanes again without signaling. He made several more lane changes without signaling. This retard obviously doesn't have the brain capacity to make the association between not signaling and someone blowing their horn at him. Makes one wonder how the hell people like this make enough money to afford a Mercedes.

Litterer
Sunday, July 11, 2010
I can't stand people who willfully litter - even worse in a national park area (Sequoia). California license plate 5YPR396, a blue Chevrolet was seen throwing a cup of soda out the window followed by a six pack plastic ring. Sorry I did not have the ability to arrest them.

Observations...
Wednesday, June 30, 2010
First, I'm a 53 year old commercial truck driver and motorcycle rider in addition to being a regular driver. Here are some observations from across the country. It's a turn signal, AKA a turn indicator. It's not a right-of-way signal/indicator. When I was learning to drive a few years ago, it was called the acceleration lane and we used it to accelerate to speed in order to make merging onto the freeway safer. Now it's called the merge lane which i must assume to be interpreted as drive slowly until you get to the end of the lane, turn on your right-of-way signal, then proceed to cut off as many vehicles as necessary since you have indicated your intent on merging slowly and have the right-of-way.
Please get up to speed and try to match the flow of traffic before you reach the end of the ramp and remember you do not have the right-of-way. The car, truck or motorcycle already there has that privilege. Also be aware that even though they are much smaller than you, motorcycles have the same right to be on the road as you do and that should not make them a target for your aggressions, and motorcyclist please try to remember that you are smaller and more difficult to see and you need to make sure the other drivers see you.
Now for the trucks! We are BIG and you will not win in the end. My average gross weight is 78000-79500 lbs. For those of you weak on your math skills, that about 38-39 tons! I can't stop on a dime, I can't swerve to get out of your way and it's going to take some time for me to get up to speed. At those weights, if you make me slow down I may have to shift down 1 or 2 gears and that will mean anywhere from 1/2 mile to a couple of miles just to get back up to speed causing more delays for me and the other drivers you are so oblivious to. Remember that no matter what it is or where you buy it, a truck like mine made it possible!
Adjust your driving to meet your surroundings, because some may not tolerate your lack of driving skills or we just may not see you as you're passing us on the right around a turn on the freeway on the shoulder because the lane ended 200 yards back.
Be safe and courteous. Are the 15 seconds you might save really worth it?

unsafe driver
Thursday, June 10, 2010
I was traveling east bound on Pine Ave crossing the inertsection of Euclid Ave, in Chino, Ca on a green light when two vehicles fail to stop on the red light and I had to slam on my breaks, and turn to the wrong lane of traffic to avoid board siding this vehicle. Dumping all our grocerys on to the floor off the back seat. Silver Honda, CA plate 4HRV501. Lives in the Eastvale area, near McCune Park.

To the driver who tried to run me off the road on the I-5N off Oso on a mid-May Saturday:
Monday, June 07, 2010
You are a monster. Literally - you are something that needs to be removed from society in the quickest manner possible so that human beings can stay safe. You lost any consideration as a human being yourself when you intentionally endangered lives in your petty, pathetic, and psychotic attack. How dare you?
Sure, the street was backed up because of a road closure, and everybody was having to wait full light cycles just to move up by one car. I waited like everyone else, and when I was legally allowed to turn right onto Oso, I did so. You made an illegal u-turn from an outside lane(!) and had the gall to honk at me as though I had done something wrong by being in the way of your stupidity. Your reaction when I gestured at you that it was your fault should have been one of apology, shame, or even completely ignorant and emotionless for all I care, not tailgating me and trying to mad-dog me the entire way up to the freeway.
This earned you the second gesture, which harmed no one and served only to remind you that you were doing something wrong and taking it out on someone else rather than yourself. Instead, you reacted by illegally running the red light on the on-ramp and trying to run me off the road and then driving off the side of the road yourself to try to swerve at me or cut me off or any number of impossibly idiotic moves that were a danger to others (the danger to yourself was acceptable, assuming there wasn't an innocent being in the car with you - you should be doing things to get yourself killed to that the world can be a better place than it is with you in it).
You are one those things that the world would be a much better place without. There would be more happiness here without you. Your behavior helps no one and endangers people that are more valuable than you in every possible way. You should go away so that better people's lives are improved and the rest of don't have to put up with you. You are a bad person.

My new car camera
Friday, May 21, 2010
Most people don't have dashboard cameras, so when I told people I was installing a portable camcorder mounted to the front windshield via a rotating-arm-suction device, they started laughing (good-naturedly).
I never thought I would be this paranoid, either.
But there's nothing like the sweet taste of evidence should a collision occur...and I'm not the one driving like a maniac. Just the other day, some asshole blew through a 4-way stop sign. Good thing I don't trust any drivers these days, so when I saw him speeding towards me with no sign of slowing, I had to slam on my brakes and let him pass. To top it off, the Armenian male was chatting on his cell. So stereotypical.

Why can't people follow the rules
Wednesday, May 12, 2010
What part of "solid white line" or "right turning lane only" translates into "feel free to use as merging/passing lane?"
I feel like I'm part of a diminishing population of motorists who still actually follow and respect the rules of the road.
I'm venting because of a "I'm too important and busy to sit in traffic" reckless merging from a complete stop in the right lane, into my lane of moving traffic, thus forcing me to slam on my brakes in order to avoid collision...all for 10 feet of advancement before reaching red traffic light. After it turned green, the obese female sped off....blowing right past the school zone.
Why are cops never there when you need them?

Bike to work day!
Wednesday, May 12, 2010
Bay area drivers/cyclists, tomorrow is bike to work day, so look out for herds of idiots on bicycles riding on sidewalks, running red lights, and generally creating mayhem! I'll be one of the cyclists, but I'll follow the laws! Don't run anyone over!

Friday, April 30, 2010
6CKC811, a Grey Mercedes, driving along Culver Blvd. in Playa del Rey - thinks he owns the road and will cut you off. Frequent user of the middle finger - obviously a mean, angry, self-entitled person.

My Commute
Wednesday, February 17, 2010
I live in Aliso Viejo and I drive to Huntington Beach to work. It's a dreadful experience every day. Watching people on the 405 speed into the slow lanes to try and pass others, only to screech their brakes as someone tries to merge in front of their idiotically hasty driving habits. Who speeds in the slow lanes going 75-80? People who are suicidal, or extremely ignorant. You are not going anywhere on the road by speeding. Do the math, if you knew physics you would know that speeding is not only costly and wasteful, but the wind created by an accelerating vehicles puts pressure on the surrounding vehicles and pushes on their cars. This causes them to sway and scare other motorists. I've had cars pass me in the bike lanes, and I'm not even 30 yet. I don't want to have seen everything I'm going to see by this age.

Texting While Driving in the Dark
Wednesday, January 27, 2010
CA license plate 6JIJ874 was observed driving northbound on Highway 113 between Davis and Woodland in the PASSING lane with the interior light on; ping ponging in the lane (slowly weaving to the left until they hit the lane markers, then weaves to the right until hitting the lane markers and so it goes); driving slower than the surrounding traffic (65 mph limit, but this is CA so people drive 5-10 mph faster). Presumably texting while driving AT NIGHT. January 27, 2010 at 6:05 pm. Navy Chevrolet, probably a 2009 Malibu; registration less than a year old. This went on for about 4-5 miles.
