Get off your *&^(*& phone!
Sunday, January 10, 2010
So there I am, trying to turn into Taco John's to drown some of my Packers sorrows, when theres this dink on the phone obstructing the enterance by stopping a car length behind the truck in front of her.
I look at her, she looks at me, then moves up 2 feet...after waiting 2 mins i give up.
Phones should only be used for quick, important conversations while driving...

What's the hurry?

Wisconsin drivers suck!
It doesn't matter whether there's sun, fog, rain, sleet or snow.
1) Pass on the right on a single lane road when someone is turning left.
2) Fail to stop for pedestrians in crosswalks (even when clearly marked) and school in zones.
3) Tailgate someone that is driving the posted speed limit on main arterials and side streets.
Get a life and get some skills...

burgundy station wagon/truck 5:45pm 9/30/08, who turned right on 70th and greenfield
Tuesday, September 30, 2008
Keep your remarks to your self. People cross to that island on 70th, ALL THE TIME, and none of them run into jerks like you or get those kinds of remarks from people driving by. I was just unlucky enough to do so. People can also get hit, when they cross by the walk sign and have the right away but jerks like you keep right on turning in front of them even though they have the right of way and are walking in the middle of the street, which I don’t doubt for a second that you would have done if someone was crossing the corner where you were turning. So why do you think people cross in the middle of the street to islands, because you drivers have no patience or follow the rules of the road?

Black Gmc Turing left from speedway on 103 and Greenfield 9/19/08
Friday, September 19, 2008
What is wrong with people like in the title mentioned above? They see you waiting to cross the street, and they don’t put a blinker on so you have no idea where they are going and when thee is a lull in traffic, instead of waiting for you to cross for 2 seconds, they hurry up and you have to wait for them. Why can’t they one, put there blinker on so you know in which direction they are going and two, wait for someone to cross, especially when the person crossing doesn’t know they are going to turn??? And like a burgundy car between 94th and 97th and Greenfield on 9/12.08 turning with no blinker when you are in the middle of crossing the street and they don’t put their blinker on, or wait for you to go! That is ridiculous! Then you have people like the black guy turning left by the corner of Riviera bowling lanes who stop right in the middle of the cross walk and you have to go around. What is wrong with these drivers who can’t yield for pedestrians???

Lane runner
Saturday, May 10, 2008
560-KBH This Jeep driver ran all 4 lane of traffic behind me as I was trying to merge into the next lane. As I was signaling to continue merging, he slowed down in FRONT of me so that I almost missed smacking into his left rear side. All this while I had a baby and my mother in the car! So I am writing this to let off some anger and to warn others about this driver's behavior that, even with baby on board signs, he didn't care who he hurts.

Finger Queen
Thursday, May 08, 2008
Nice finger, queenie! Too bad that's all that is visible when you drive. You may want to consider getting a pillow to sit on! Look out everyone for 746LDX it's a VW dark gray, and the driver is too short, she can't see the hood, so she lags too far back, and heaven forbid if you get too close, you will get her "magic" finger!! And that is ALL you will see!!!

You know who you are mr Infinity G35 plate "Gucci1", who signals to turn right at a red light, then when traffic opens, you go straight thru the red light at the intersection!! That's only slightly illegal, numb nuts. Who do you think you are???

Where do they get their licenses?
Sunday, December 02, 2007
I really do not feel safe driving anywhere these days. People are so ignorant and stupid that it makes my head hurt.
I take a bypass (aka, the freeway) to work and back every day. Read: freeway = speed limit 65 mph. Now, Wisconsin is notorious for its awful winter driving, so any other time of year, you'd think people would take advantage of safe, dry roads and would at least go 65? No. This bypass is relatively new, and most people treat it the same as the old road, where the speed limit is 50. I spend nearly my entire ride passing people because everyone is going 50-55 mph on a nice sunny day with dry conditions. What the hell is wrong with people?
Around these parts of northwest Wisconsin, stop signs are not mandatory, speed limits are a suggestion in town, and semi trucks have the same authority as the police. Semi trucks run red lights constantly, nearly killing several people at once. Most of the time it's when they are executing a left hand turn.
No one watches where they are going. People tailgate to the point where you want to slam your brakes so that they'll back off. Either that or you'll get someone who will tailgate you, then get way behind you, then be tailgating you again, etc etc. That game goes on the entire trip. Or people who will pass you then hit the brakes and slow down, you pass them back, then they rip roar and pass you again and slow down.
Motorcyclists around here are awful. They go two by two and they weave around motorists and either drive way too fast or way too slow. I went to pass a motorcycle one day and when he saw what I was going to do, he floored it so I couldn't pass him, but then dropped his speed back down to a snail's crawl.
People around here are so bored and have nothing better to do than piss everyone on the road off. It's disgusting, not to mention DANGEROUS!

Steering 101
Saturday, October 06, 2007
Has anyone else in the Madison area noticed lately how people can't seem to stay in their lane anymore?
It seems like on any road with 4 or more lanes, even in heavy traffic, if there's a curve in the road some drivers can't steer their car well enough to keep it in the lane. I've come to expect it, and I have to honk to wake people up. It's really bad when you have someone coming at you riding up the yellow line, and someone next to you on the right who wants to straighten out that curve, and you're sandwiched in between wondering if this is going to be "it."
And don't get me started on drivers who cut corners on a left turn. There are placed in town where I regularly have near head-on collisions with people who are turning left but can't remember that their lane is on the other side of the street.
And related, in those places where there are 2 lanes of traffic making a turn, such as coming off the beltline onto Gammon towards Woodmans, sometimes I wonder if people think that turning a corner makes a left lane turn into a right lane, with all the lane switching that people do. Trust me, if you want to go to Walmart, the right lane will still be the right lane after you turn.

bad drivers in white cars
Tuesday, October 02, 2007
why is it that it seems men are the worst drivers out there? wfa-204, jus-gus, 32826, 32836, bluhound to name a few.
It seems also like guys who drive white cars, like this one blowing and blowing his horn at someone not going around a truck fast enough, near pick n save on national, and continuing on after he got by, and another in a white van in the bank parking lot at 68th and state yelling at someone out the window for not waiting for them to back out, when we all know someone backing out needs to wait for people pulling in. or guys blowing their horn at you on bluemound or in black vans by barnes and noble on greenfield, when you are waiting to get across, and they have to blow their horn at you instead of just going around. Then they follow you home and swear at you. Or they don’t wait for you to cross when you have the right of way, like a guy with a cap and sunglasses on 68th and state st, driving a blue and tan truck, nearly hitting you, just to turn in the store parking lot, and they can’t wait two seconds to do that. Or guys blowing their horn on 121 and bluemound, if you don’t turn the corner fast enough. Or guys cutting in front on 108th and bluemound with no blinker. Or guys turning corners, just as you are stepping off, like by the restaurant on 108th. What is wrong with these jerks like that? And these guys always have caps on, sunglasses and /or dark hair?

Cut off by an idiot
Thursday, August 23, 2007
A new red ford truck with a boob behind the wheel. I put my signal on to let him know I want to switch lanes, he's three car lengths behind me on the left, and he floors it to keep me from switching lanes. His plate# is WI 970031. This guy is a complete moron.
