West Highway 42
Saturday, August 15, 2009
For several years there has been a problem on US 42. It's not the worst but it gets annoying. There is a section past Countryside subdivision that is 55mph. The section before and after it is 45mph and there is an "End 45mph" at the beginning and a reduced speed sign at the end cleary marking the section. Day after day I find myself and dozens of other drives stuck behind someone going 45mph or less. More often than not, someone is splitting the difference by going 50mph in the 45mph and 50mph in the 55mph section.>

Intersection blockers!!
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
How many of you drivers are not able to read the big posted ," Do Not Block Intersection" signs, this pisses me off more than anything..These dumba__ people pull right up even if someone is sitting there with their turning signals on waiting to turn, it drives me nuts..for example, Nicholasville road in front of the mall, i beleive its Tarten dr. right after Reynolds rd. or right before it, depends on which way your coming, theres signs before the road and after it so people cant miss it, but youd be surprised at how many dumb people apperently that cant read..Please people just pull your heads out of your a__es and PAY ATTENTION while your driving....

Cycling and sunshine
Saturday, July 21, 2007
I am retired, and ride my bicycle nearly every that I go when I am alone. I am constantly amazed at how LITTLE trouble I have with cars. Maybe once or twice a month a car will do something near me that I consider a danger to me.
Being the purpose of this site is to point out bad drivers, just wanted to add some sunshine by saying that most drivers do pretty well.

It's a shame you can't show the courtesy that others show at an intersection. Actually, they are following the rules of the road, you are too busy "getting there first". Hint - just because you are ten feet ahead of someone because you won't let them have the right of way at an intersection does not mean you are going to get there any faster... Stop being a self-centered moron and start paying attention to other people in the world.

Coal Trucks Flying on steep, curvy roads
Saturday, January 20, 2007
When I have the unfortunate pleasure of going down to Hazard or Pikeville, I have to go thru London and across the Hal Rodgers parkway (formerly Daniel Boone pkwy). The speed limit is 55 but everyone flies on that section of road between London and Hazard. I would have to say the average speed is 70 MPH. The biggest problem I have is the big 18 wheeler coal trucks. OMG they fly! And these roads are steep and very curvy. Its just a 2 lane highway with the occasional truck lanes. The go past you so fast you can feel the wind off their trucks. Also I hate the chunks of coal that sometimes bounce up and hit my windshield. I am sure these truck drivers have hard jobs and are pretty good drivers. I just wish they would slow down a little around those curves. Thats all.

90 million year old rv driver
Thursday, January 11, 2007
On my way back from kentucky a couple weeks ago a man that was so old he didnt see my bright red car or hear my horn blaring changed lanes into my lane, I was in the grass and smashing my gas pedal to get in front of him, I barely made it! It was an RV, and the license on the boat was Indiana either 414341 or 434143.

State police Cell Phone Junkie
Saturday, January 06, 2007
While on a short trip out of town yesterday, I caught up to 2 other vehicles traveling at less than the speed limit. The lead car was staying just below the limit because the car behind him (and not far enough, I might add) was a state police car. I stayed far enough back and just watched for about 5 miles as the cruiser drifted off the right edge of the road (a kind of narrow 2 lane) a good 5 or 6 times until he finally pulled off the road at a wide spot and I got to see what was causing his erratic driving. Yep, you guessed it! Had his cell phone stuck to his left ear. And guess where the wide spot was! Right in front of a small cemetary! I sure wish they'd give them a small raise in pay so they could afford to buy themselves a DAMN HANDSFREE HEADSET before they add to the population of that cemetary. Now, can you guess what would have happened if HE had been following someone that was driving like that?

Lexington Police at UK Game
Saturday, December 23, 2006
At tonights game , I saw two lexington police officers, obviously off duty, arrive in front of Rupp Arena, Plate numbers F7021 and F4556.
F7021 is a slick top unmarked, F4556 is marked. The problem is they parked out front, where we cannot, and a carload of people got out of each car.
They got free close up parking, it was raining tonight, while we had to pay $10 and park half a mile away.
It's no problem if they are on duty, but this is a little much

Move over for passing traffic
Monday, December 18, 2006
One thing that burns me up are the people that maintain 55 - 65mph on the interstate fastlanes, especially while on their cell phones. The express lane is ment for passing, and not a lane to go 80mph in. If your not willing to keep up with the flow of traffic in the xpress lane, merge over onto the slower lanes.

first time on the site
Sunday, December 17, 2006
i think this site is awesome, and i see shitty drivers 24/7!!!
KENTUCKY has some horrible drivers. Most of the people drive good, they just dont pay attention (ie running red lights, not paying attention to signs, etc.)
